A huge THANK YOU to all who participated in what has become an annual tradition at Brasher’s Idaho Auto Auction: our Christmas Car Charity Sale. With your help we were again able to raise over $12,000 for Reese’s Rainbow.
This year’s “Christmas Car” helped raise over $12,000 for Reece’s Rainbow
Reece’s Rainbow has given over $1.5 million in grants and helped with the adoption of over 500 children affected with Down Syndrome. Their mission is to raise awareness of orphan children with Down Syndrome and provide funding to help alleviate the high cost of adoption. They have reached out to adopting families in 25 countries.
From prior help, Eli, whom was sponsored last year, has been adopted into a loving and nurturing family. The cost to get each child into a loving home averages over $35,000.
As you can see in the picture, the Christmas Car is extravagantly decorated with garland, twinkle lights, and ornaments. It ran through the auction lanes and was sold multiple times at varying prices, with the cumulative amount going to Reese’s Rainbow.
Together, we are making a difference one child at a time.
